Jacob and Fiona!


BIG Week...I thought Paris was a big week but since coming back, we have been BUSY. There has been every day life, but it was Julia's last week at school until her summer session. She will go 2 mornings a week in July to her nursery school at our church in July. It has been really good for her. But she also had her pre-screenings for pre-K on Wednesday. It turned out that the psychologist and the speech pathologist were both from Jacob's school. Surprisingly (ha!), she is VERY verbal and social. Everyone commented on how smart she was and how a challenge would be helpful...ha!...I could have told you that! Anyway, then she had her last day of school on Thurs complete with an ice cream party....sugar high! Jacob does not get out of school until next Friday. However, he had a pj and pizza party yesterday. He insisted on wearing Spiderman pj's, Spiderman underwear, and bringing his Spiderman sleep guy that Gramma and Big Daddy gave him (just in case). Today, they had a school-wide picnic at Woodmere Park complete with cookout, playing on 4 playgrounds, and races/activities. John met Jacob's class at the park to help out. It was a BEAUTIFUL sunny, 68 degree day. GORGEOUS! Could not have asked for a better day! Then, Jacob, John, and one of his classmates, FIONA, and her mom stayed afterward for extra play and the ice cream truck! WOW! What a bonus day! Fiona is such a cutie and such a nice girl. Plus, she is a monster on the monkey bar and can run like lightening. Pretty cool for a girl...ha!
