YIPPEE!!!...As of this morning, I have lost 10 lbs since Thanksgiving. Let's keep it going! For most people this is probably not a blog-worthy post, but for me it is huge!

REAL Snow...Well, after almost 2yrs of bemoaning not experiencing a REAL NY winter, today we may make up for that. It has been snowing all night. There is about 6-8 inches of snow and it is still coming down like gangbusters. The kids can't wait to get out in it.

Monopoly Bonanza...Jacob has discovered the fun of Monopoly. It started with a game with John last night. The game was placed on a tv tray until this morning. But unfortunately, Jacob misunderstood and started the game OVER with me. So, we have yet to actually complete a game but we have played on and off all day. Jacob is actually quite a real estate tycoon. He even has 2 houses on both Baltic and Mediterranean Ave's vs. my zero houses. He alternates between wanted to kick my behind and letting me know it and trying to reassure me that he loves me even if I win. HA! The other funny thing is that when it is time for him to draw a community chest card or chance card he says, "Well, it is either good news or bad news." Out of the mouths of babe.

Quote of the day from a t-shirt catalog which speaks to me: "I'm Confused...wait, maybe I'm not." Yep- that's me!

I thought John's t-shirt was:"I can't help it...The little voices make me play guitar!"

But he thought the shirt that really spoke to him was: "More Cowbell". Some will understand this, some will not. I got it.

Quote from Julia when I went in to check this afternoon about why she wasn't napping yet: "Mom, I just can't take it! (in a very exasperated voice)". After give her her Baby Julia doll, she was asleep in 5 minutes.

Test Results...All went well with my colonoscopy yesterday. No problems and the results were fine. John was a wonderful nurse. I slept almost nonstop from 2pm yesterday until 7am today. Wild dreams! Anesthesia does that to you, I guess...
