A Day at the Beach...It was a family day at the beach this afternoon. Julia was happy and fine as long as she was playing in the water but don't even THINK about expecting her to just play in the sand. Ha! Of course, today was the first day she was able to REALLY be in the water. The water is now up to 67 degrees according to the weatherman. It is cold but once you are in it is pretty refreshing unless you are splashed somewhere you were wet yet. At 3:30pm, Julia and I walked home and she fell immediately asleep and the boys stayed to play and have guy time. We just pinch ourselves every day that we really live here. Casa d'Elliott is lots of fun so everyone is invited to come play with us!!!

Mi Amiga, Julia...Cute pic's of Miss Julia and Jacob. Julia loves the Money Bars and wearing her daddy's hat and glasses...ha! What a glamour puss!
Point Lookout Community Church...We all got up this morning and went to church together. It was the first time John was home to go with us to try out this new church that I had visited a couple of weeks ago and liked so much. He loved it every bit as much as I did! Yea! Today the associate pastor gave the sermon since the pastor was out of town. Once again, everyone was so friendly, the music and sermon were great, and the kids had a good time in Sunday School/nursery as well. It was the first time John and I had gotten to just sit and listen to a sermon together in a VERY long time without any interruptions. And it was a really good sermon on marriage...ha! How appropriate. God is GREAT!!!
Fireworks from the Porch...Last night after bathtime we could hear the fireworks from the Sands Beach Club start. We walked right out our from door and across the street and could watch them from home. Cool! I think there are fireworks so be seen every night. It'll be fun to go down and watch them from the beach reflecting off the water. We love Long Beach! And every street you look down, there is a sea of American Flags. One house by the park has huge banners all across the front. I tried to get a picture with my cell phone but I was too far. I'm going to try to get closer. It looked really festive.
